Core Responsibilities:
Operations & Process Optimization
- Oversee day to day operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with company standards.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational methodologies.
- Analyze workflows to improve productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and optimize performance.
- Support implementation of operational best practices across departments.
KPI Tracking & Performance Management
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs and reporting dashboards.
- Create reports and insights for leadership visibility and strategic planning.
- Track operational performance trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across systems and departments.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with leadership teams to align operations with business growth goals.
- Collaborate across departments to improve communication, accountability, and execution.
- Support change management initiatives and operational rollouts.
- Facilitate operational meetings, follow-ups, and workflow alignment.
Documentation & Systems
- Build, update, and maintain SOPs, workflows, and operational playbooks.
- Standardize processes and operational procedures across teams.
- Maintain organized documentation repositories and internal systems.
- Ensure operational consistency and process adherence across departments.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Manage and mentor operations team members.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Support onboarding, workflow training, and operational guidance.
- Help teams prioritize effectively and improve execution quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, project management, or process optimization.
- Proven experience leading operational improvement initiatives with measurable results.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience building SOPs, workflows, and operational systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and execution.
- Strong decision-making and operational thinking skills.
Nice to Have
- Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certifications.
- Experience in startups, outsourcing, or high-growth environments.
- Familiarity with KPI dashboards and operational analytics tools.
- Experience managing distributed or remote teams.
