About Us:
We are a fast-growing e-commerce brand based in the UK, looking for an experienced Google Ads PPC Manager to join our digital marketing team. We're seeking someone who can drive our paid search strategy and deliver measurable results through data-driven campaign management and optimisation.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a strategic and analytical PPC Manager who will take ownership of our Google Ads campaigns and help scale our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce PPC management, with strong expertise in performance marketing and conversion rate optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PPC strategies across Google Ads platforms
- Manage and optimise multiple campaign types including Search, Shopping, Display, and Performance Max
- Conduct regular A/B testing of ad copy, landing pages, and campaign elements
- Create and optimise product feed management for Google Shopping campaigns
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights
- Manage daily budget allocation and bidding strategies
- Implement conversion tracking and analyse customer journey data
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding
- Identify new growth opportunities and expand into new market segments
- Optimise landing pages in collaboration with the web development team
- Stay up-to-date with PPC best practices and industry trends
Required Skills/Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns in an e-commerce environment
- Proven track record of managing substantial monthly ad spend ($20k+ monthly)
- Deep understanding of Google Ads platforms, including Search, Shopping, Display, and Performance Max
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and statistical significance
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
- Proficiency in landing page optimisation and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
- Experience with bid management tools and automation strategies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
- Google Ads certification and other relevant certifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional platforms (Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads)
- Knowledge of SEO principles and their interaction with PPC
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce)
- Familiarity with heat mapping tools (Hotjar, Crazy Egg)
- Understanding of UX/UI principles
- Experience with performance marketing in international markets
