Job Title: Shopify E-Commerce Web Developer (Full Stack)
Location: Remote 
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am to 6pm on UK timezone (flexible)

We are a growing e-commerce brand based in the UK, seeking a talented Full Stack Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. As we continue to expand our online presence, we're looking for someone who can help drive our technical development and deliver exceptional e-commerce experiences.

Role Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Shopify developer who can transform creative designs into fully functional, responsive e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with particular expertise in Shopify's ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our Shopify store, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
  • Build custom Shopify themes and functionalities using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Transform Figma designs into pixel-perfect, mobile-responsive website experiences
  • Write clean, maintainable and highly functional front-end code 
  • Work with Shopify APIs to create custom functionality and integrations
  • Implement and customize third-party apps and payment gateways
  • Optimize site performance and maintain high-quality code standards
  • Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to implement new features and improvements
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience with Shopify development
  • Experience with Shopify 2.0 features and Online Store 2.0
  • Expert-level proficiency in front-end technologies (Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery)
  • Expert knowledge of responsive UX design principles 
  • Experience with mobile-first development
  • Strong understanding of Shopify's architecture, Liquid and Theme Kit
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Proven ability to translate Figma designs into functional Shopify themes
  • Strong understanding of Shopify APIs and app integration
  • Experience with REST APIs and JSON
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimization
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
