POSITION OVERVIEW

Title: D2C Marketplace Merchandiser

Location: London Office (Holborn) not a remote position

Schedule: Fulltime (Mon - Fri, 8 am to 4:30 pm)

Salary: from £35,000 PA

As an D2C Marketplace Merchandiser at PURESEOUL, your role is crucial in ensuring the successful daily management of our D2C e-commerce platform and new and current third-party marketplaces (such as Amazon). This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, general strategies, and marketplace operations. Your attention to detail, organisation, and strong teamwork will contribute to optimising our online presence - plus, you'll get to work closely with some iconic Korean brands!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketplace Management: Assist with listing, updating, and optimising products across multiple e-commerce platforms, including Amazon and TikTok Shop. Manage product page content, pricing strategies, and keyword optimisation to maximise visibility and sales performance.

Product Selection: Assist with listing, updating, and optimising products across multiple e-commerce platforms, including Amazon and TikTok Shop. Manage product page content, pricing strategies, and keyword optimisation to maximise visibility and sales performance.

Inventory and Order Management: Coordinate with the wider team to ensure adequate stock levels, efficient order fulfilment, and optimised inventory turnover.

Digital Merchandising: Regularly update online collections and landing pages across all marketplaces, ensuring alignment with key launches and campaigns.

Description Adaptations: Ensure all product descriptions, claims, and media assets meet internal standards and marketplace requirements. Review and update listing media regularly, testing new SEO keywords to continually improve visibility and performance.

Sales Analysis: Analyse sales data and marketplace performance to identify trends, evaluate results, and recommend strategies to strengthen our overall platform presence.

Cross-functional Promotion Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to plan and execute promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns across multiple channels.

Account Health & Management: Maintain relationships with key account managers, representing our brand on each platform. Ensure all queries, listing issues, or compliance matters are resolved promptly.

Customer Experience Optimisation: Continuously improve the online shopping experience by analysing customer feedback and implementing best practices across marketplaces.

Important to Note

Workplace travel: Due to the nature of working closely with products, inventory, and our fulfilment team, travel may be required regularly, and on short notice to work from our West London warehouse. If deemed necessary, this could be for multiple days a week and for extended periods.

Team Collaboration & Flexibility: As part of a small and dynamic team, there will be occasional opportunities to assist with activities outside of core responsibilities, such as helping with store openings, supporting team events, or assisting with ad-hoc projects. While these tasks are optional, we really value a collaborative spirit and the willingness to step in and support each other when needed.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong passion and existing knowledge of the Korean beauty industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a relevant role, such as e-commerce management, marketplace operations, or digital marketing.
  • A creative eye for visual presentation and the overall look of marketplace storefronts.
  • Good understanding of e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms, marketplace tools, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel between central London and west London regularly.
