Position Overview
PURESEOUL is a fast‑growing, multi‑brand retailer bringing the best of Korean beauty to customers across the UK. We are seeking a proactive, organised, and detail‑focused HR Advisor to support and strengthen the HR function at our London Head Office. This role is ideal for someone with developing HR experience who is ready to take ownership of key operational processes, coordinate ER and compliance activity, and contribute to wider HR projects in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Role: HR Advisor
Location: London Office (Holborn) in-person required
Schedule: Full-time (Mon to Fri, 8:00 to 4:30)
Salary: £34,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations Casework: Ownership of low‑ to mid‑level ER cases, conducting full investigations, preparing documentation, managing meetings and minutes, and escalating complex matters to the HR Manager when required.
- Performance, Probation & Attendance: Lead on performance management, probation reviews, and attendance monitoring, ensuring processes are followed consistently and managers are supported with guidance and documentation.
- Manager Coaching & Policy Guidance: Teach managers how to conduct formal processes and advise them on HR policies, ensuring consistent application, procedural fairness, and compliance across stores.
- Compliance Training Management: Ensure mandatory compliance training is assigned, completed, and tracked for new starters and refresher cycles, maintaining accurate records and following up with managers where needed.
- Recruitment Coordination: Assist with drafting and revising job specifications, researching market rates to remain competitive, coordinating feedback with hiring managers, supporting second‑stage interviews, and helping develop tasks and question packs.
- Store Compliance & Onboarding: Support compliance processes for new and upcoming store openings, including health and safety documentation, onboarding requirements, and ensuring all operational standards are met.
- System Maintenance: Maintain HR systems and records to audit‑ready standards, ensuring all documents are correctly stored, consistently updated, and followed up on, with both digital and physical files kept organised and compliant.
- Data Analysis & Insight: Analyse HR data and trends, flag unusual findings to the HR Operations Manager, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the HR function.
- Long‑Term HR Projects: Contribute to long‑term HR operational projects, supporting process improvements, system enhancements, and wider strategic initiatives.
- Learning & Development Support: Assist with developing L&D courses of varying levels, supporting content creation, coordination, and tracking of completion.
