Duration: 2 months ( convertible internship)

Requirements:

  • An Arab-speaking Female Required.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of information security concepts, principles, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with common security technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and technologies.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with relevant security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

  • Any relevant certifications or coursework in information security or cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and events from various security systems, including intrusion detection systems, log management systems, and network monitoring tools.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
  • Collaborate with the information security team to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assist in conducting security awareness training and educational programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending security technologies and tools to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of information security procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
  • Assist in conducting security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security considerations are incorporated into the design and implementation of new systems and applications.
