JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INTERN

Job Summary:

As a Social media marketer, you will create concepts that inform the public of the companys marketing activities, design and post content on social media platforms as well as curate the companys social media accounts. Duties will include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions, and planning digital campaigns to build community online.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

  1. Planning design concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
  2. Illustrating concepts by designing examples, preparing finished concepts, and submitting them for approval.
  3. Coordinating with outside agencies, photographers, design services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
  4. Creating/designing material boards and illustrations in collaboration with the Technical Design team.
  5. Reviewing final layouts of designs and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Social Media Marketing:

  1. Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the companys brand.
  2. Working with the Operations Director to develop social media marketing campaigns.
  3. Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the companys social media accounts.
  4. Designing and posting invites to company events.

  5. Taking pictures of before and after, work in progress, and other works that display the companys capabilities, professionally editing and posting them online to improve brand awareness.
  6. Creating and maintaining a database of pictures, brochures, and other digital marketing material on the company server and coordinating with the business development team to ensure they have all the latest marketing material.
  7. Creating the companys digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements.
  8. Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the companys marketing activities.
