Radiation Therapist

This role combines clinical radiation therapy responsibilities with opportunities to support department operations, quality assurance, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments and support patient care coordination
• Participate in simulation and treatment planning processes
• Review, update, and support radiation therapy policies and procedures
• Assist with quality assurance (QA/QI) programs and compliance with ODH and CoC standards
• Monitor equipment performance, safety checks, and maintenance
• Support staff training, competencies, and onboarding
• Collaborate with physicists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist with documentation, audits, and billing-related processes

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• ARRT (T) certification required
• Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license (ODH)
• 3–5+ years of experience (including simulation and planning)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Portal Vision
• EMR & imaging systems (HIS, PACS, RIS, IMPAC)
