Job Description
- Requirement Gathering & Solution Analysis: Collect business requirements and evaluate advanced AI solutions, as well as existing data mining, machine learning (ML), and business intelligence (BI) technologies.
- User Interface Design: Specify and design user-friendly presentation interfaces with a focus on usability and experience.
- Data Modeling: Develop data models tailored to specific problem statements.
- Analytics Architecture: Contribute to the architecture and solution stack design, including aspects like performance, physical design, and capacity planning.
- Documentation & Collaboration: Write detailed documentation and collaborate with other teams to handle cross-project interdependencies.
- Data Governance: Collaborate with data stewards and IT stakeholders to define data governance rules, ensuring data quality and integrity through controls and validation actions.
- Anomaly Detection: Create automated systems for anomaly detection and consistently monitor their performance.
- Data Mining & Processing: Execute data mining using advanced techniques, and process and cleanse datasets for analysis, ensuring integrity.
- NLP/ML/AI Architecture Design: Help design IT architecture for AI solutions, particularly in NLP and ML, while aligning with master data and metadata management.
- Data Architecture Analysis: Assess data architecture for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and feasibility.
- IT Requirements & Business Vision: Contribute to data management strategy, policy, and derive necessary IT requirements from the analysis of business requirements.
- Business & Process Analysis: Perform business process and model analysis, risk assessments, and document functional requirements.
- Documentation & Risk Management: Assist with business cases, project charters, vision documents, and security plans.
Knowledge and Skills
- Natural Language Processing & Agile: Strong understanding of NLP lifecycle, and agile development methodologies.
- Corpus Linguistics & Alignment Models: Experience in corpus-based linguistics, and alignment and classification model techniques.
- Data Analytics & Big Data: Expertise in data analytics over large, unstructured datasets and data lakes.
- Information Systems & Administrative Processes: In-depth knowledge of information systems and large-scale organization business processes.
- Modeling Tools & Techniques: Proficient in analysis and modeling tools (e.g., use case diagrams, entity relationship models, state/interaction diagrams).
- Modeling Standards: Good knowledge of BPMN, UML, or equivalent tools.
- Collaborative Tools: Familiarity with collaborative platforms like Wikis.
- Software Development Methodologies: Knowledge of methodologies like RUP and Agile.
- Data Analytics & Machine Learning: Expertise in Data Analytics techniques and tools, Machine Learning, and NLP.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in R, Python, and PERL.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, SAS, SAP).
- ETL Processes: Expertise in ETL tools and processes (e.g., SAS, Talend Open Studio).
- SQL & NoSQL: Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Hadoop, SQL).
- Architectural Design: Understanding of architectural design and implementation of scalable modern data infrastructures.
***For this position, the candidate must be an EU citizen for the last 5 years and must be willing to relocate to Brussels since this is a hybrid position.
