Our client is a company that is expanding greatly in the energy market and is one of the world's largest methanol producers. They work on EPC projects in various parts of the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with various departments, construction and engineering teams, external partners, and other group companies to ensure timely, on-budget, and quality project delivery.
  • Identify, manage, and expedite construction constraints, interfaces, and needs in terms of engineering and procurement delivery under the guidance of the Site Liaison Manager.
  • Track, coordinate, and expedite technical clarification requests from construction, liaising with engineering, procurement, project management teams, sub-contractors, and external partners.
  • Support coordination of engineering and procurement activities between the construction team and our client´s engineering and procurement teams.
  • Report progress to the Site Liaison Manager and Senior Project Management team.
  • Participate in meetings, generate minutes of meetings, and follow up on actions.
  • Assist the project team in identifying risks and defining mitigation plans.
  • Review engineering and procurement documentation as required.
  • Follow up on engineering and procurement-related deliverables and activities.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in industrial plant design and/or industrial site construction works.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering.
  • Preferred experience in Power, Oil & Gas, Refining, or Petrochemical industries.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory; German and Portuguese are strongly valued.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Soft skills: Target-oriented, team player.
  • Availability to travel and spend extended periods abroad.
