About the job Accounting Technician
Our client is a company expanding greatly in the energy market. It is one of the largest methanol producers in the world and works on EPC projects in various parts of the world.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute administrative tasks while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Accounts receivable: allocate receipts and issue invoices.
- Accounts payable: allocate payments and post invoices.
- Ensure correct bookkeeping for invoicing and expenses across projects and cost centers.
- Validate, organize, and classify financial information.
- Perform cash and bank accounting and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare and manage tax documentation.
- Ensure accurate accruals and deferrals for income and costs.
- Maintain up-to-date accounting records and documents.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an accounting department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of fiscal matters.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 F&O (not mandatory).
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
