Our client is a company expanding greatly in the energy market. It is one of the largest methanol producers in the world and works on EPC projects in various parts of the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of the QSE Department in achieving defined objectives.
  • Organize QSE team meetings and develop action plans/reports.
  • Prepare procedures and Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation.
  • Provide QSE input for proposals and pre-qualifications.
  • Conduct internal audits in line with the approved audit program.
  • Facilitate training workshops.
  • Prepare QSE control documentation for client handover at project completion.
  • Monitor statutory parameters such as air quality, lighting, and noise.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Department as needed.
  • Maintain document flow and control following project procedures.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly QSE status reports.
  • Expedite document preparation and ensure traceability and accuracy of records.
  • Keep databases updated, including charts for NDT, welding production, and repair metrics.
  • Inspect and approve discipline activities requiring quality checks.
  • Ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System in office and project activities.
  • Fulfill responsibilities outlined in specific project documentation (e.g., Quality Plans, Safety Plans).
  • Collect and analyze environmental data, such as emissions, waste, and energy consumption.
  • Prepare detailed reports and submit regulatory documentation for environmental compliance.
  • Implement and monitor waste reduction and recycling programs.
  • Assist with environmental impact assessments and suggest mitigation measures.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety procedures.
  • Support company sustainability goals and promote green practices.
  • Communicate environmental policies to stakeholders and the public.
  • Stay informed about environmental regulations and best practices.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the QSE area.
  • Knowledge of ISO QSE Standards, Specifications, and Procedures.
  • Proven ability to enforce applicable standards effectively.
  • Fluency in German (mandatory), English, and/or Portuguese (spoken and written).
  • QSE Management Training.
  • Basic training or experience in QA/QC and environmental management.
  • Safety course training (e.g., CAP V/VI or NEBOSH certification).
  • Internal Audit Training.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
