About The Job

We are seeking a Social Media Content person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ideating, creating, and executing engaging content for Thinkertales (Books) and Fashion on our Instagram platform. They will manage our IG account daily, including comment and DM responses, and creating Stories and IGTVs.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
  2. Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  3. Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the companys social content
  4. Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  5. Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  6. Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
  7. Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in any major
  2. At least 2 years of direct experience in content creation and marketing for social media. Experience as a marketer on both TikTok and Instagram is a plus.
  3. Strong background in Sales/Marketing and Content Creation.
  4. Has knowledge of the book industry (or Intellectual Properties) and fashion trends.
  5. Proficiency in managing and creating content for multiple social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
  6. Ability to evaluate and document successful strategies and identify areas for improvement.
