PFS - Application Support Developer
About the job PFS - Application Support Developer
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with the .NET Framework (Experience with .NET Core and MVC is a plus)
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL (SQL Server is a must, experience with MariaDB is a plus)
- Familiarity with OOP concepts
- Familiarity with source control and versioning (Preference for GIT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development
- Experience in web-based applications (Experience with Windows Forms or Windows Services is a plus)
- Experience in at least three different projects
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
- Proficiency in programming (C#)
Responsibilities:
Application Maintenance:
- Provide technical support to existing applications, ensure smooth operations, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Monitor application performance to detect potential problems or errors and take preventive action.
Troubleshooting:
- Identify, analyze, and fix application errors, whether from the server, database, or user interface side.
- Manage and resolve support tickets reported by users or internal teams.
Bug Fixes and Development:
- Fix bugs, apply patches, and develop minor features as per business needs.
- Collaborate with the development team to provide efficient and quick solutions to complex application issues.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with development, operations, and client teams to resolve technical issues and provide timely solutions.
- Communicate the status of issues and their resolution to the team and lead.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Set up and use monitoring tools to ensure application continuity.
- Prepare periodic reports on application performance and incidents.
- Record the status and information related to applications, including progress, challenges, and communication with clients, partners, or internal teams.
Documentation:
- Assist the team in creating and updating technical documentation and troubleshooting guides for internal teams and end-users.
Security and Updates:
- Keep up with application security patches and apply necessary updates.
- Work with the security team to ensure the application meets the required security standards.
