Senior Civil Structure Drafter

Position Summary:

• The Senior Civil Structure Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed civil and structural drawings for EPCM projects, including residential housing, fuel storage tanks, jetties, and other industrial and infrastructure facilities. The role requires advanced drafting skills, strong technical understanding of structural design standards, and proven experience in translating engineering concepts into accurate and constructible drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and update civil and structural drawings (GA, detail, fabrication, and as-built) in accordance with project requirements, standards, and specifications.
• Work closely with engineers to develop drawings for: Housing projects: foundations, floor plans, framing, structural supports.
• Fuel storage tanks: foundations, bund walls, piping supports, and structural steel layouts.
• Jetty structures: piling layouts, deck structures, dolphins, and access bridges.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes and standards (SNI, ACI, AISC, ASCE, API).
• Interpret engineering calculations and transform them into precise CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, marine) to ensure design integration.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and support Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation from drawings.
• Maintain drawing revisions and document control in accordance with EPCM project procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior drafters within the team.
• Support design reviews, client presentations, and site construction queries as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of drafting experience in EPC/EPCM companies.
• Proven experience in structural drafting for housing, fuel storage tanks, and jetty/marine structures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla, or equivalent drafting software.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and BIM tools (Revit/Navisworks) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian (SNI) and international standards (ACI, ASCE, API, AISC).
• Ability to interpret complex engineering designs and convert them into high-quality drawings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
