About the job Performance Marketing Manager
As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in acquiring, converting, and retaining customers through data-driven digital marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing paid media strategies across multiple digital channels to drive high-quality traffic, generate leads, and improve ROI for our suite of insurance technology products. You will work cross-functionally with product, data, creative, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with our growth goals in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, programmatic, etc.) to drive user acquisition and lead generation;
- Manage and monitor key performance metrics such as CAC, CLTV, ROAS, CPL, CTR, CPM, and conversion rates;
- Translate complex data into actionable insights swiftly to adjust bids, budgets, and creative for maximum ROI
- Drive campaign insights and continuously test creatives, landing pages, audiences, and messaging to improve performance;
- Manage and allocate budget across channels to maximize ROI and scale profitable growth;
- Work closely with product, CRM, and content teams to create integrated full-funnel strategies;
- Stay updated on digital trends, insurtech landscape, and performance benchmarks to inform strategies;
- Ensure all campaigns strictly adhere to platform-specific advertising policies, industry regulations (e.g., insurance advertising disclosures), and internal legal/compliance guidelines
- Deliver regular reports and insights to leadership on marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience in digital/performance marketing, ideally in startups or high-growth environments;
- Proven success managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other major platforms;
- Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, or similar;
- Deep understanding of marketing funnels, conversion optimization, and digital attribution;
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting performance metrics to stakeholders;
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing tools and frameworks;
Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills. - Prior experience in the fintech or insurtech industry.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Braze, MoEngage).
- Experience working with creative teams or agencies to produce high-performing ad creatives.
- Knowledge of local digital consumer behavior in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam).
- Basic SQL or data querying skills is a plus.
