About the job Area Manager

Responsibilities;

  • To monitor and manage stores operational activities in the assigned areas within company's Standard Operation Procedure and guidelines in order to support store in achieving its sales target and to comply with the principals guidelines.
  • To ensure that each store in the assigned area has a fair work schedule in order to make sure human resources are available adequately so that stores are able to operate properly.
  • To manage stores operation within the area of his/her responsibility so that it operates in accordance with company and/or principal guidelines, policies, and procedures. Included in this responsibility are to check stores concept and display, to monitor pending items, etc.
  • To conduct regular review of stores sales achievement in order to be able to identify problems, concerns, and opportunity for improvement so that stores sales target could be achieved or exceeded. Included in this responsibility is to report those findings to Operation Manager.
  • To provide positive encouragement for stores staff so that they are always motivated to achieve the stores targets.
  • To check and approve the incentive amount based on stores PIC calculation and distribute it to each store so that each stores staff get fair incentive in accordance with its achievement. Included in this responsibility is to synchronize the amount of incentives with PI report (missing items).
  • To coordinate with HR/IR regarding staff discipline issues based on stores report.
  • To coordinate with HR/IR for industrial cases so that the cases could be solved in accordance with the applicable procedure.
  • To ensure cost efficiency of budget utilization by establishing check and control measurement system and take the necessary corrective actions to follow the company's acceptable levels of percentages of costs / expenses to sales.

Requirements;

  • Min D3 but preferably Bachelor Degree
  • Min 2 years experience as Area Manager or 5 years experience as a Store Manager
  • Microsoft Office
  • Product Knowledge
  • Operational Knowledge
  • Understanding of business processes
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
