Leading and Managing Field Teams
Coordinate the activities of fabrication teams consisting of fabricators, welders, fitters, and riggers to ensure all work is executed in line with project targets and quality standards. Reading and Interpreting Technical Drawings
Interpret technical drawings, isometric diagrams, P&IDs, shop drawings, and layouts to ensure fabrication and installation work is performed according to design specifications. Supervising Steel and Mechanical Fabrication Processes
Oversee all fabrication processes including cutting, welding, forming, assembling, and installation to ensure compliance with procedures and industry standards. Planning and Monitoring Work Progress
Develop daily and weekly work plans, assign tasks, and monitor progress regularly to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Interdepartmental Coordination
Collaborate with QC, HSE, logistics, engineering, and third-party contractors to ensure smooth operations and alignment with project goals. Performing Visual Inspection and Quality Checks
Conduct initial quality inspections, including visual testing (VT), and apply basic knowledge of NDT methods such as MT, PT, UT, and RT to ensure welding and fabrication quality. Ensuring Compliance with HSE Standards
Enforce discipline and adherence to safety protocols, including implementation of HSE plans, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permit to Work systems, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Reporting and Communicating Progress
Prepare and submit accurate daily reports, weekly progress updates, and other technical documentation to supervisors and project stakeholders in a timely manner.
