Objective:
The Sales Key Account Manager will be responsible for generating revenue by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key mining clients, identifying business opportunities, and promoting the sale of heavy equipment to meet the operational needs of the mining sector. The role is focused on achieving sales targets and driving profitability through strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers in mining companies.
  • Identify and secure new sales opportunities for heavy equipment and related services.
  • Drive revenue generation through direct sales, including negotiating terms and conditions.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients in the mining sector.
  • Understand clients' mining operations and tailor equipment solutions to their needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and after-sales service.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on sales activities, forecasts, and account status.
  • Support customers with any technical queries or service needs related to heavy equipment.
  • Travel as required to client sites and industry events.
  • Handle the whole Sulawesi area mining Industry.

Requirements for Key Account Manager (Mining Industry)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years focused on the mining industry or heavy equipment sales.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of mining operations and equipment needs.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to understand technical product specifications and tailor solutions to client needs.
    • Results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Willingness to travel to client sites.
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledge of heavy equipment, mining tools, and related industry standards.
    • Domicile in Sulawesi Area (Makassar)
