AF Credit Team Leader
About the job AF Credit Team Leader
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Successfully lead the team towards achieving the objectives of the business in relation to service levels, risk management, quality of assessment and excellent introducer experience
- Equip each Credit Analyst with the right assessment tools, guidelines, feedback and performance discussions in adherence with Credit and Settlements policies and procedures
- Collaborate across Asset Finance and Credit & Settlement Teams
- Ensure the ongoing and appropriate development of staff through coaching and mentoring
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to procedures, systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with any delegation as an authorised credit representative of the company
- Ensure that applications are approved by Credit Team in accordance with delegations and as per authorised credit representatives
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Previous management and or services role leading Credit Analysts
- Experience in the Australian credit industry is an advantage
- Minimum of three years exercising a delegated lending authority
- Previous experience as an authorised credit representative of an Australian Credit Licensee
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Positive disposition and can-do attitude
- Keen attention to details
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
