About the job AF Credit Team Leader

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully lead the team towards achieving the objectives of the business in relation to service levels, risk management, quality of assessment and excellent introducer experience
  • Equip each Credit Analyst with the right assessment tools, guidelines, feedback and performance discussions in adherence with Credit and Settlements policies and procedures
  • Collaborate across Asset Finance and Credit & Settlement Teams
  • Ensure the ongoing and appropriate development of staff through coaching and mentoring
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to procedures, systems and processes
  • Ensure compliance with any delegation as an authorised credit representative of the company
  • Ensure that applications are approved by Credit Team in accordance with delegations and as per authorised credit representatives

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Previous management and or services role leading Credit Analysts
  • Experience in the Australian credit industry is an advantage
  • Minimum of three years exercising a delegated lending authority
  • Previous experience as an authorised credit representative of an Australian Credit Licensee
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Positive disposition and can-do attitude
  • Keen attention to details
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
