AF Settlements Officer
About the job AF Settlements Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure delivery of settlement and other services within agreed service levels and in accordance with Credit and Settlements policy and procedure
- Ensure completeness of electronic signature process for applicable contractual documents and facilitate electronic storage of executed agreements
- Raise ad hoc direct debits required to complete the settlement for the payment of upfront fees and charges
- Service and support Introducer Partners and communicate all exceptions and omissions
- Ensure loan documents and guarantees are complete, unaltered and appropriately executed and all approval conditions have been met
- Ensure that anomalies relating to policies and legislation are identified and rectified
- Ensure all supporting documentation and additional requested information is accurate, complete and meets the requirements
- Complete the electronic settlement checklist
- Ensure final checks are conducted prior to finalisation of documents
- Minimise fraud and operational losses in the organization to below industry norms for given risk
- Review settlement workload and ensure timely progress within agreed metrics
- Ensure first time resolution whilst ensuring an exemplary level of service
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in in any field
- At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience working in an Australian Financial Services environment will be an advantage
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Positive disposition and can-do attitude
- Keen attention to details
- Ability to work well within a team environment
