Container Yard Jr Manager

Oversees the management of container yard daily operations

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise all the activities of container yard and warehouse operations
• Responsible in handling OOG (out of gauge) cargo, Cargo grounding Dry Van/Steel Rack Capacity
• Monitor in cargo acceptance, cargo releasing, cargo handling, empty issuance and hustling
• Provide timely and efficient solutions to the operations & management problems on a daily basis from simple to complex nature
• Deliver the timely operations report for management reference of the status and processes updates
• Ensure the timely completion of all the necessary and required documentation associated with the operations management
• Work on the other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Industrial Engineer or any related course
  
• Female applicant is acceptable
• At least 3 years of working experience in logistics and container yard operations
• Willing for an on call duty as needed and necessary for the role
• Strong management skills and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures
• Able to work under pressure
• Computer literate, proficient in basic word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to work with subordinates to establish authority and responsibility
