About the job Checker (Puerto Princesa)

  • Collaborate with Operation Officer and CY Lead to organize and layout containers within the yard to optimize space utilization.
  • Familiarization with the location of the containers.
  • Check and ensure that the information in the BL is correct.
  • Post the data in the system by encoding the information, quantity, van number and other data needed for the shipping of the goods.
  • Configure the account if there are open BL in the system.
  • Receive discrepancies from clients, checkers, or other stakeholders.
  • Check the information from the system, BL, and other documents to validate the information.
  • Confirm if the container had overlanded, shortlanded or mislanded discrepancies
  • Correct the discrepancies by doing the necessary initiatives.
  • Perform other tasks that are related to the work.

Qualifications:

  • Preferable graduate of vocational course or bachelors degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, or other relevant course.
  • Preferably with 1 to 2 years experience as a checker, a loader or unloader, or other similar experiences
  • Familiarity with inventory management, recording, and counting.
  • Diligent with great attention to detail.
  • Willing to render overtime
