Summary of the Role:
Strategic business partner to Supply Chain & Procurement business unit/department, building strong relationships, leading financial reviews to understand challenges and opportunities, as well as manage overheads & capital expenditures in partnership with the BU leaders.
- Responsible in implementing the business planning cycle within the business units/department, including annual operating budgets, quarterly forecast/LE and long term financial plan to ensure alignment with overall business strategies and financial targets.
- Responsible for ensuring BU/department's Targets/Scorecard are aligned with the overall business strategies & financial targets, leading Dashboard review & monitoring progress on a monthly basis, creating bridge gap analysis as necessary to ensure achievement of goals.
- Leads the monitoring and consolidation of cost saving initiatives as part of the Cost Governance Team, providing transparency & ensuring accountability within the BU/department.
- Responsible for reviewing and documenting the BU/department's existing policies & procedures, coordinating with other Finance business partners as necessary, implementing best practice in the industry with internal controls in mind, and ensuring the BU/department's compliance to such.
- Responsible for creating adhoc financial reports and analysis that will help improve the BU/department's operations and achievement of targets.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed, and continually automate/ streamline processes to improve business efficiency across the organization.
- Incorporates health, safety, security, and environmental compliance in the planning and implementation of Finance operations and initiatives.
- Other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Finance or any related course. CPA preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in FP&A, preferably with focus on Supply Chain Controllership/Business partnering within a fast-paced business/industry.
- Experience in Logistics & Services industry is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills i.e., analyze data, capture gaps while executing control, identify ways to fix the issue and suggest necessary process improvement to avoid such instances from recurring
- Stakeholder management i.e., engage with senior leaders, manage expectations and ability to speak-up & influence without authority.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP system, preferably with Netsuite
- Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
