About the job Technical Controller
A Technical Controller ensures the parts of the equipment are correct based on the manufacturers
recommendations, ships classification societies, government regulatory requirements and
company approved standards. To inspect the equipment parts purchased are in the specifications.
And to report any deviations or flaws of the items. Accountable to minimize turnaround time and
minimize delay due to improper specifications on purchase requisition.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper naming specifications and conventions in SERTICA
- Regular monitoring of ships Inventory for ship consumables and spare parts
- Assess the technical quality of products that the company has approved for purchase or the products that receive at a warehouse.
- Accountable for informing the management, Superintendent & Fleet Managers on questionable inventory and inventory lost.
- Verify specifications, performs visual and measurement tests, rejects and returns any goods that are unsatisfactory, and then inspects and approves incoming supplies
- Confirm specifications, do a visual and measurement test, and reject any goods that don't meet standards to approve or reject incoming materials.
- Ensure harmonious working relationship with Buyers and timely
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/College Degree in quality electrical engineering or similar specialization
- Licensed engineer or master electrician is a plus but not required
- At least minimum of 1 year experience in a related position, such as technical inspection or quality control
- Open to fresh graduate
