About the Job

The Learning and Culture Technical Specialist will implement the technical training & development and employee engagement programs.

Designs, implements, and manages PSACC Learning Management System focus on the technical development related to vessel operations. Also, to cultivate a positive workplace culture for our sea-based team by overseeing company events and analyzing their effectiveness, while working with the team council committee in supporting the initiatives.

Learning and Development

  • Identify and assess the organizational learning goals for the vessel & technical team.
  • Track the progress toward meeting goals by collecting and presenting data in supervising the learning process.
  • Design, facilitate and evaluate core and essential programs such as but not limited to new employee orientations, value-based and technical competency-based programs.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the LMS (Learning Management System) in ensuring that it meets the needs of our employees and is continuously improving.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS support, troubleshooting technical issues and training to users.
  • Generate and analyze reports on LMS usage & performance in providing a data-driven recommendation for improvements.
  • Monitor LMS vendor contracts and learning, and coordinate with vendors on support and service issues
  • Work with technical instructional designers and subject matter experts in developing and maintaining the online courses and learning content to be integrated with PSACC Learning Management System
  • Assist with pre-course administration including the collating, printing and binding of L&D materials, processing bookings and invoices, issuing joining instructions and pre-course information to delegates, providing pre-course customer service to delegates and trainers and assisting with organizing in-house training courses.

Culture and Engagement

  • Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies for the sea-based team.
  • Organize and manage employee events and activities.
  • Manage internal communications
  • Facilitate regular feedback sessions to gather employee insights.
  • Conduct employee surveys and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for all engagement programs and events in PSACC.
  • Generate cost reports to evaluate financial performance and inform future planning.
  • Ensure all logistics are managed effectively for a successful outcome.
  • Directing team efforts and providing support to ensure alignment and efficiency in event execution.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of events through feedback and engagement metrics, making recommendations for improvements in future initiatives

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in BS any engineering or other technical courses.
  • Advantage if with certification for Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Instructional Technology, Learning Measurement & Analytics or related field.
  • Preferably with at least 5 years experience in driving technical training and engagement.
  • Ideally with sea-based or logistics experience
  • Experience designing and developing eLearning solutions with demonstrable learning measurements. Familiarity with Instructional Design tools.
