Summary of the Role: 

Responsible for defining, building, and executing the strategy and mechanisms that support the continuous improvement enterprise-wide initiatives and program. Lead the organization in adoption of new tools and practices that bring cross-functional teams together to understand, document and simplify processes across teams. Work closely with team on program and projects that enhance business processes, improve reliability, increase simplicity, and enable growth by using Agile, Lean, Six Sigma data driven, problem-solving methodologies to deliver tangible business
results. Focus is placed on improving internal and external customer
experiences while streamlining operations through process improvements, identification of synergies, and evaluation of internal controls and deployment of digital tools/systems.

Reports to:  Division Head Operational Excellence (Vice President)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management of the overall process improvement program and able to make iterative changes as appropriate to keep the program evolving against strategic drivers and future needs.

Develop and implement a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy to enhance the process Excellence function by defining standards and governance, tools, and methodology to build on executive engagement.

Facilitate process improvement meetings and workshops, including business process reengineering sessions, brainstorming sessions, and various process improvement guidance to staff.

Measure, analyze, and evaluate existing processes, collect data to identify root causes, preform cost benefit analysis, and identify improvement opportunities.

Identify, plan, and implement multiple projects, studying ways to make improvements to one or many steps to increase productivity, reduce costs, time management, and recommend solutions that align with business priorities.

Monitor and report on all deliverables for the program.
Develop dashboards aligned with KPI to measure critical success factors.

Develop and design documents including training manuals, process outlines, flowcharts, checklists, templates, and implementation procedures.

Oversee plan management communication to keep employees and engaged and informed about overall program benefits and value.
Manage team, provide clear direction, provide development guidance to staff.

Collaborate closely with Enterprise Risk, EPMO, Internal Business Controls, and IT on a wide range of initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:


Design enterprise-wide process improvement programs to train and embed a continuous improvement mindset.

Strong ability to develop and deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.

Demonstrated understanding and demonstrated application of various improvement methodologies and tools in Six Sigma, Lean and Agile: DAMAIC, A3 Development and Management, Process Flow Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, 5S/Fishbone, Process Problem Solving, Kaizen/Continuous Improvement, SIPOC, Scrum, etc.

Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and motivate professionals within your team and across the organization.

Advanced wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts, and company objectives to develop programs and procedures and resolve complex issues.

Ability to think strategically, to proactively understand customer needs, and provide solutions to overcome obstacles.

Ability to develop policies, procedures, and practices that meet needs of the business.

Qualifications: 

Bachelors degree required. Business, Engineering or related
discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of related progressive continuous
improvement, analytical, project management or business
analysis experience including supervisory experience.

Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility leading
process improvement projects.

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and
communicating results to senior leadership.

Professional certifications such as Project Management
Professional (PMP), Lean, Six Sigma or Agile Certified, are
preferred.
