About the job Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Summary:
-Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
-Inspect machines, engines, transmissions, etc. and
run a diagnostic test to discover functionality issues.
-Troubleshoots and repairs breakdown Equipment
-Perform daily equipment check-ups
Duties and Responsibilities
-Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative
maintenance
-Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and hydraulic system
-Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
-Maintain LBE in its optimum condition
-Works and collaborates with LBE operators and other technicians
-Maintain a clean and safe work area
-Clean and apply lubricants to equipment components
-Perform thorough maintenance on equipment and systems
-Perform preventive maintenance and provide technical reports
-Validate daily equipment checklist
Qualifications:
-Experience in repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of heavy
equipment, trucks and diesel engine
-Graduate in Hydraulic or Automotive
-Course or Vocational or Equivalent
-Experience in Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and electromechanical
-NCII certification is an advantage
