Responsibilities:

  • Fuel Supply Management: Oversee the bunkering operations, including the receipt, storage, and transfer of fuel to ships.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry regulations during bunkering activities.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of fuel to meet industry standards.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of fuel transactions, including quantity, quality, and related documentation.
  • Communication: Coordinate with ship captains, fuel suppliers, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth bunkering operations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with bunkering activities.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of bachelor's degree in Management/Engineering/Marine or relevant field
  • Has experience in bunkering operations an advantage
  • Has knowledge about draft
  • Has a knowledge about fuel computation
  • Patience to understand safety precautions around his/her working area
  • Can work with less supervision
  • Can work under pressure
