About the Role:
Responsible for maintaining essential IT infrastructure, including Multi-Cloud Platforms, Operating systems, security tools, applications, WAF, VPN tunnel, servers, and email systems, developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, deploying and debugging cloud stacks, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure and Backup and Recovery.
Responsible for projects and solutions initiatives of the IT Operations Service Department, work with internal and external partners and stakeholders to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with OE IT heads, IT Infrastructure heads, and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
- Review and recommend improvement with existing Azure and AWS cloud architecture, systems, database, and cloud storage based on industry standards and best practices.
- Prepare and conduct periodic internal training to educate OE/IT teams and stakeholders on the current implementation of the cloud infrastructure and new cloud technologies and initiatives.
- Designing, developing, and deploying modular cloud-based systems based on best practices covering Azure and AWS.
- Developing and maintaining Azure and AWS cloud solutions following best practices.
- Ensure efficient data storage and processing functions following company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities, performing mitigation of any risk finding and application deployment issues and closely coordinating with the Security and Systems and Development team
- Responsible for Cloud Firewall Management, Network connectivity, and firewall policy, including DNS, point-to-point tunnel, and SDWAN setup.
- Responsible for cloud requirements for Networking, Routing, Switching, IP Subnetting/CIDR.
- Regular review of Azure and AWS existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
- Interacting with stakeholders, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on user needs.
- Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly
- Monitor Servers and resources health using existing management tools, and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed
- Assess and recommend efficient cloud management tools available in external or in AWS and Azure such as CloudWatch, etc., that will help to proactively monitor, capture reports and logs and provide alerts on any issues and irregularities.
- Responsible for administering Active Directory, authentication, and integrations with different systems.
- Responsible as a member team for building BCP for all critical services in Azure and AWS including Backup and Recovery
- Assist the helpdesk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed particularly in Cloud infrastructure and Client-Server concerns.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance and audits of all systems, server and architecture setup, firewall policy review, access and role, login credentials for dormant accounts
- Responsible for providing periodic update reports on the availability of cloud infrastructure Systems and Servers, Applications, and DB.
Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science or a similar field.
- At least 4 years of experience in the field of cloud computing, cloud architecture, and systems engineering
- Familiar with SysOps. DevOps
- With Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications
- With Strong knowledge in Networking, Routing, Switching, IP Subnetting/CIDR.
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Client/Stakeholder management skills.
