The Role

As a Mechanical Mate, you will support Pipefitters, HVAC Engineers and Site Teams with the installation of mechanical services on commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the installation of pipework, ductwork and mechanical systems.
• Moving materials and equipment around site safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with measuring, cutting and preparing materials for installation.
• Supporting experienced engineers and tradespeople with day-to-day site activities.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting site managers and project teams where required.
• Learning new skills and developing your knowledge of mechanical installations.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who:

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Are reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Enjoy practical, hands-on work.
• Can work well as part of a team.
• Are willing to travel and stay away when projects require it.
• Hold a valid CSCS card or are willing to obtain one.
• Hold a full UK driving licence or are working towards obtaining one.

Previous construction or labouring experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.
