About the project:

For a fixed-term project (from June to the end of November, with the possibility of extension), we are looking for a Technical Writer to produce user guides and service manuals for products related to a project for the world leader in integration solutions for biomedical devices for hospitals and healthcare organizations. Through its connectivity solutions, advanced integration, and analysis options, they unlock the full potential of biomedical data by making it intelligible and usable for clinical and operational decision-making. With more than 25 years in the industry, the company has established strong partnerships with major manufacturers of medical devices and is present in more than 2000 hospitals in 39 countries.

Your job:

  • Your main focus is to create and maintain high-quality documentation such as device specifications, user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting instructions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, customer support, and marketing teams to gain an in-depth understanding of the product and its documentation requirements.
  • Make data-driven decisions to improve the content, identifying knowledge gaps and measuring content effectiveness.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, including release notes, installation guides, developer guides, and API guides, while continuously updating and improving these materials.
  • Track and monitor changes in the product to ensure documentation is current and accurate.

Professional competence and requirements:

  • Ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and in a target group-oriented manner.
  • Professional experience in technical writing and documenting complex software.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills to successfully formulate concepts and ideas.
  • Experience with Markdown and product documentation as code would be a plus.

Personal skills and requirements:

  • Passion for evolving techniques in technical communication and very good analytical skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A collaborative and inquisitive individual with a structured, goal-oriented approach to work, and a willingness to ask questions when needed.
  • Highly motivated teamplayer and ability to work independently.

What we expect:

  • Full time engagement 8 hours per day.
  • Maximum of non-committed/not working of 25 days.
  • Comply with the office policies: At least 2 days per month in the office, to meet with your team.
  • To be present in the office when there is a client visit.
