About the job French Speaking Senior Java Developer

We are also the company behind two software solutions for office work – our workplace management software, Desk Buddy, and our performance management software, GROW.
About the project:
Our client is a leading French organization with over 40 years of expertise in the IT sector. Leveraging its international teams, the organization provides comprehensive support to IT and business departments, serving clients in the aviation and finance industries.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications as a full member of the client's Agile squad, sharing the same sprints, ceremonies, and definition of done.
- Provide day-to-day technical guidance and mentoring other Java Developers on the team, reviewing code and supporting their growth
- Act as the local technical relay into the Agile squad, keeping technical communication clear and continuous.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices within the squad.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, including strong knowledge of the Spring / Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Solid, proven experience delivering software in Agile environments
- Prior experience acting as a technical lead, relay, or senior point of contact between distributed or nearshore teams.
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals: clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and version control (Git)
- Ability to mentor and support less senior developers within a small team.
- Strong communication skills and professional English, spoken and written, and working knowledge of French.
