Position Overview
We are seeking a hybrid Delivery/Product Manager who can expertly blend technical project delivery with strong product ownership. You will lead software delivery engagements from inception to completion, define product strategies and roadmaps, and work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric software solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong consulting or design agency background who thrives in dynamic environments, including large-scale enterprise website redesigns.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of customized software development and enterprise digital transformation projects.
Define and manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
Assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide regular updates.
Apply technical expertise to assess feasibility and ensure sound delivery practices.
Product Strategy & Ownership
Develop and communicate clear product vision, goals, and roadmaps aligned with business and client needs.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and refine requirementsparticularly in .com (customer-facing) website environments.
Prioritize features and tasks based on business value, user impact, and timelines.
Lead release planning and manage end-to-end product lifecycle.
Analyze market trends and user feedback to inform product direction.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA professionals.
Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Work closely with department heads to align project goals with strategic initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Champion continuous improvement within both delivery and product processes.
Foster a learning-oriented environment and encourage experimentation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product management, delivery management, or technical project management in a software consulting or design agency environment.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise .com redesigns or digital experiences for customer-facing platforms.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms and modern content architecture.
- Strong technical background with familiarity in software development processes.
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with utility industry clients is a strong plus.
- CSPO certification and relevant Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
