What Youll Be Doing:

  • Architect and manage Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) clusters for modern, cloud-native applications.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep templates and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) to streamline deployments.
  • Design and maintain Kubernetes-based container environments to support efficient application development and deployment.
  • Configure and optimise Azure networking solutions (VNets, VLANs, and more) to enable seamless communication and security.
  • Deliver highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud resources for top-notch performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Partner with DevOps teams to automate deployments and enhance operational workflows.
  • Solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges, ensuring reliability and uptime.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven expertise with the Azure cloud platform and its suite of services.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Strong grasp of networking concepts, including VLANs, VNets, and cloud-based networking architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep and ARM templates.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and performance optimisation techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting intricate cloud environments.
  • A collaborative mindset with outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Certifications in Azure or Kubernetes (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, CKA) are a BIG plus!

Smaller Details:

We are looking for a Full-Time Permanent hire to start in the New Year (2nd week of Jan-ish) but are open to considering contractors as well for more targeted part-time (20 - 30 hour) engagements as well!
