Quantitative Trader

We're a small, lean team of 4 based in Menlo Park, CA, seeking a skilled Quantitative Trader to join us. In this role, you'll leverage your extensive market expertise manage our live trading strategies and maximize our profit.

We find working in person leads to the most fun, engaging, and creative work, and so this role is in-person at our office in Menlo Park.

Projects you'll work on:

• Manage our Live Strategies: monitor and tweak our live systems, manually place trades if needed, and work with our engineering team to continually quantify and optimize our performance.
• Improve & Scale Execution: find opportunities to leverage new exchanges, markets, and products to improve the execution and scale of our existing strategies.
  
• Find new trading opportunities: research the markets we trade in as well as new markets we haven't touched to find opportunities for new trades.
  
• Risk Management & Compliance: Embed risk management considerations into the development process, working with the engineering team to incorporate necessary safeguards and compliance measures within our trading systems

Who You Are:

• Experienced Quant Trader: You have 5+ years of quant trading experience and are proficient in Python.
  
• Collaborative Innovator: You excel in a team environment, effectively communicating with engineering teams and other stakeholders
• Risk-Aware Problem Solver: With a keen understanding of trading risks, you're skilled at integrating risk management principles into technology solutions.
