QA Engineer, Pakistan

Role Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will support the testing and quality assurance process for Proto's AI platforms, chatbot systems, integrations, and client deployments.

You will work closely with Engineering, CX, Product, and Operations teams to identify bugs, validate fixes, and ensure smooth user experiences across voice and chat systems.

This role is ideal for someone early in their QA career who wants hands-on exposure to AI platforms, APIs, automation tools, and enterprise deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web platforms, chatbot systems, and integrations
• Identify, document, and track bugs and system issues
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing
• Assist in preparing and executing test cases and test scenarios
• Support QA testing for client deployments and new feature releases
• Coordinate with developers and CX teams regarding reported issues
• Help monitor platform quality and user experience
• Assist in API and integration testing when needed
• Maintain clear and organized QA documentation
• Participate in internal QA reviews and testing processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Basic understanding of software testing and QA processes
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with web applications and digital platforms
• Willingness to learn APIs, automation tools, and AI platforms
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Applicants must be currently residing in Pakistan

Nice to Have

• Internship or academic project experience related to QA or software testing
• Familiarity with tools such as:
• Postman
• Jira
• Notion
• Selenium
• Basic understanding of APIs and integrations
• Exposure to chatbot or AI platforms
• Experience in remote collaboration tools such as Slack and Google Workspace
