Summary

An investment company in Astana, Kazakhstan, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to build and manage all HR processes, with a strong focus on Compensation & Benefits (C&B). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investment companies, funds, or strategic consulting, particularly in designing and implementing long-term incentive (LTI) programs. This role involves reporting directly to the partners and includes the opportunity to shape the recruitment strategy and later contribute to HR consulting projects for external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR processes and policies aligned with the companys growth and business strategy.
  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) framework, including salary structures, bonuses, and long-term incentive plans.
  • Oversee and optimize the recruitment process, from talent sourcing and acquisition to onboarding, ensuring the company attracts and retains top-tier professionals.
  • Develop and manage talent retention strategies and leadership development programs to support organizational expansion.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior management, providing insights on performance management, employee engagement, and compliance with HR regulations.
  • Support organizational development efforts, including workforce planning, change management, and leadership coaching.
  • Collaborate on strategic HR consulting projects for the firms external clients, applying HR expertise to address client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with a strong background in investment companies, funds, boutique firms, or strategic consulting.
  • Proven expertise in Compensation & Benefits (C&B), including the development of long-term incentive programs.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Russian and English is required; knowledge of Kazakh is a plus.
  • Experience in investment, finance, or consulting environments is highly preferred.
