Vice President, Private Equity Fund
A private equity fund is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vice President to join the investment team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in sourcing, executing, and managing investments across various sectors. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and make a significant impact on the fund's investment strategy and portfolio performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of investment transactions, including sourcing deals, conducting due diligence, negotiating terms, structuring deals, and managing documentation.
- Oversee the performance of portfolio companies, including the development and implementation of value creation plans, strategic initiatives, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct in-depth industry and market research to identify investment opportunities and provide insights into sector trends and dynamics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio company management teams, industry experts, advisors, and other key stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
- Prepare and present detailed investment reports and updates to senior management and investors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Experience: 6-8+ years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, in-house M&A, corporate finance or a related field, with a proven track record of successful transaction execution.
- Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, excellent negotiation and communication abilities, and a deep understanding of investment strategies and financial markets.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage deal teams, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Language: Fluency in English and Russian.
