We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Chief Financial Officer  to join a leading construction holding in Kazakhstan. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in large companies and holdings, preferably within the construction industry. This role involves strategic planning, effective management of financial resources, development and implementation of financial policies, preparation and analysis of financial reports, securing financing, risk assessment, and participation in strategic projects. The candidate should have deep knowledge of IFRS, exceptional analytical and communication skills, and be willing to relocate, aiming to make a significant long-term contribution to the company's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning and manage the financial resources of the group.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, accounting standards, and reporting in compliance with IFRS.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for the group, consolidating reports across multiple legal entities.
  • Coordinate the finance departments activities, managing a team of accountants and financial professionals.
  • Secure bank financing and interact with financial institutions to optimize credit lines and loan conditions.
  • Assess financial risks and develop measures to mitigate them.
  • Participate in the company's strategic projects, including evaluating investment decisions and implementing new business models.
  • Control budgets, analyze variances, and develop recommendations for improving financial performance.

Requirements:

  • A higher education degree in finance, economics, or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a CFO in large companies and holdings.
  • Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Proven track record of securing bank financing.
  • Advanced analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and oversee finances in complexly structured holdings.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with senior management and partners.
  • Willingness to relocate to Kazakhstan.
  • Fluency in Russian and English
