Venture Capital Associate

VC Associate/ Venture Capital Fund/UAE

Responsibilities:
· Identifying and sourcing investment opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events
· Conducting due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, financial modelling, and competitive analysis
· Supporting the investment decision-making process by preparing investment memos and presentations
· Supporting portfolio companies by providing guidance, resources, and connections
· Building and maintaining relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders
· Keeping abreast of industry trends, news and developments to inform investment decisions

Requirements:
· Bachelor or Masters degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or a related field; CFA is a plus
· 4-5 years of relevant work experience within Private Equity & Venture Capital
· Local experience in the US will be an advantage
· Industry focus: technology
· Strong knowledge of markets, financial statements analysis, corporate finance and valuation techniques
· English - full professional proficiency
· Strong communication, presentation and organization skills
