A Single Family Office is seeking an experienced Independent Advisor to provide strategic guidance and oversight for its diverse investment portfolio, which includes fintech, real estate, and gas processing industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity, international transactions, and board-level management.

As an Independent Advisor, you will leverage your extensive experience to guide the family office on investment opportunities and portfolio strategies, evaluate international projects, offer market insights, and ensure sustainable growth. We seek a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in managing teams, portfolio companies, and international deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for investment strategies and portfolio management.
  • Assess potential investments, conduct due diligence, and provide risk analysis and valuations.
  • Serve on the boards of portfolio companies to provide governance, strategic direction, and oversight.
  • Oversee the performance of portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Manage and advise on cross-border deals and partnerships, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Stay informed on global market trends and developments to provide strategic advice based on market conditions.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including investors, management teams, and external advisors, to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Lead and manage specific projects or initiatives as required by the family office.

Requirements:

  • Over 20 years of experience in private equity, with significant experience in managing teams and portfolio companies.
  • Proven track record of serving on boards of directors and providing governance and strategic oversight.
  • Extensive experience with international deals and managing global portfolio companies.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to provide high-level insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive growth and performance in portfolio companies.
  • Advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to Switzerland and other locations as required.
