Junior Vice President, Private Equity Fund

Our client, a leading investment group, is looking for a talented and motivated Private Equity Professional to join their investment team with a focus on generalist sectors. This role requires a dynamic individual with over 5 years of relevant investment experience, including at least 3 years in transaction-focused roles, preferably within private equity. The Junior VP will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A transactions, leading comprehensive due diligence processes, and conducting detailed investment analysis.

Main responsibilities:

M&A Transactions: play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers and acquisitions. Conduct thorough financial and strategic analysis, prepare investment proposals, and assist in negotiating deal terms.

Due Diligence: lead comprehensive due diligence processes including financial modeling, market analysis, and risk assessment to ensure informed investment decisions.

Portfolio Management: collaborate with portfolio companies to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth and operational improvements. Monitor performance, provide strategic guidance, and support management teams in achieving their business objectives.

Investment Analysis: perform detailed investment analysis and valuation for potential acquisition targets. Develop financial models, perform sensitivity analyses, and prepare investment memoranda for the investment committee.

Industry Research: conduct extensive research on various industries to identify emerging trends, potential investment opportunities, and competitive dynamics. Present findings to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members to support all aspects of the investment process. Contribute to a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Main requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics. An MBA or CFA designation is a plus.

5+ years of relevant investment experience, with at least 3 years of strong transaction experience, preferably in private equity.

Fluent in English.

Ability to take responsibility, demonstrate a proactive approach, and possess strong leadership and analytical skills.
