About the Role
Prosperity Workforce Solutions is hiring on behalf of a community health organization in Scarborough seeking a dedicated Chiropodist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered foot care services.
This role supports underserved and at-risk populations within a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment. You will play a key role in advancing accessible, culturally responsive care, working alongside an interprofessional team to improve patient outcomes and community health.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of foot-related conditions in accordance with professional standards
- Provide a range of clinical services, including:
- Surgical foot care
- Orthotic casting and footwear assessments
- Wound care management
- Deliver preventative care, patient education, and health counseling
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR), including charting, audits, and participation in case conferences
- Contribute to program development, implementation, and evaluation initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate referrals as needed
- Support clinic operations, including ordering supplies and equipment
- Participate in student mentorship and preceptorship opportunities
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized university
- Diploma from an accredited Chiropody program
- Active registration and good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
Experience
- 3–5 years of clinical experience in chiropody (community health, hospital, or private practice) considered an asset
- New graduates and candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with diabetic patients is an asset
- Exposure to program development and evaluation is an asset
- Experience with EMR systems (e.g., PS Suite, Nightingale) preferred

- Travel between multiple clinic locations within Scarborough
