Required Skills:
- Ability to be courteous, diplomatic, and tactful when interacting with others
- Ability to remain calm
- Ability to follow directions and function effectively during emergent, urgent, or unexpected events
- Ability to take initiative and promptly and appropriately follow through with patient care duties
- Able to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- Two years of experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Respond effectively to emergent, urgent, or unexpected events with calm and professionalism
- Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet patient care needs
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to maintain patient safety and well-being
