Position Summary

Prosperity is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic outpatient team. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care setting, supporting physicians and advanced practice providers while promoting optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients in an ambulatory/primary care setting
  • Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, health histories, and symptom evaluation
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
  • Assist with minor procedures and exams
  • Provide patient education on disease management, medications, preventive care, and wellness
  • Coordinate care, including referrals, follow-ups, and communication with interdisciplinary teams
  • Manage patient triage (in-person and telephone), prioritizing care based on clinical needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction goals

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience; ambulatory care, primary care, or outpatient experience strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Proficiency with EMR systems
