Overview
A rapidly growing, physician-led diagnostic imaging and specialty care organization with multiple locations across Calgary and one in Canmore. The organization also provides teleradiology coverage to hospitals and remote health centres, supported by a team of 200+ clinical and operational staff.
This role is a unique, high-impact opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work directly alongside the physician lead in both clinical and leadership capacities. Role Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and adaptable Super Nurse (preferably NP; open to exceptional RNs) to support interventional pain, spine, and musculoskeletal care within a fast-paced, procedural environment.
This individual will play a key role in patient care, procedural support, clinical coordination, and potentially research and innovation initiatives. The role requires strong clinical fundamentals, high energy, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving setting.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Procedural Support
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and support care throughout the treatment journey
- Assist with advanced image-guided procedures (pain management, spine, MSK)
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Provide patient education on procedures, recovery, and care plans
- Coordinate referrals, investigations, and follow-ups
NP Scope (if applicable)
- Conduct independent consultations and assessments
- Order diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians on clinical decision-making
Research & Innovation (Nice to Have)
- Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives
- Support data collection and patient follow-ups
- Contribute to innovation and program development
Administrative & Team Collaboration
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Support quality improvement and operational excellence

Qualifications
Required:
- RN or NP designation with active CRNA registration
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical foundation and patient care experience
Preferred:
- NP designation (priority for submission)
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Pain management
- Interventional/procedural settings
- Radiology/imaging
- Emergency or critical care
- Orthopedics or anesthesia
- Experience assisting with image-guided procedures
- Interest or experience in research/innovation

- Full-time, primarily weekday schedule
- Onsite role across clinics (primarily Trinity Hills)
