Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Certified Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Imaging team in Philadelphia. This role is responsible for performing high-quality breast imaging procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a professional and supportive environment.

The Mammography Technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams, maintain imaging quality standards, support patient education, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, identify, and prepare patients for breast imaging procedures.
• Explain exam procedures and answer patient questions to promote comfort and understanding.
• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and trauma-informed care while maintaining patient dignity and privacy.
• Monitor patient well-being throughout procedures and respond appropriately to patient concerns.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and physician orders.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing patient discomfort.
• Perform specialized imaging views including spot compression, magnification, and implant imaging when indicated.
• Assist radiologists with breast imaging workflows and follow-up imaging needs.
• Prepare and document imaging studies accurately in PACS and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
• Current state licensure/certification as required.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience preferred.
