We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate to join a Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Top-tier Global Bank. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing advisory services to FIG clients, including banks, insurance companies, and asset managers, on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions.

Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a top-tier institution

  • Previous experience (typically 2-4 years) in investment banking, with a focus on M&A and capital markets, preferably within FIG

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial information

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing advisory services to FIG clients, including banks, insurance companies, and asset managers, on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions

  • Support senior bankers in the execution of M&A transactions and capital raising efforts for FIG clients

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and valuation of financial institutions

  • Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, client presentations, and detailed reports

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients

  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the FIG sector

  • Build and maintain financial models to support analytical work

  • Liaise with clients to gather relevant information and provide updates on project progress

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
