We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate to join a Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Top-tier Global Bank. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing advisory services to FIG clients, including banks, insurance companies, and asset managers, on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions.
Qualifications
Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a top-tier institution
Previous experience (typically 2-4 years) in investment banking, with a focus on M&A and capital markets, preferably within FIG
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial information
Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing advisory services to FIG clients, including banks, insurance companies, and asset managers, on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions
Support senior bankers in the execution of M&A transactions and capital raising efforts for FIG clients
Conduct thorough financial analysis and valuation of financial institutions
Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, client presentations, and detailed reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients
Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the FIG sector
Build and maintain financial models to support analytical work
Liaise with clients to gather relevant information and provide updates on project progress
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
