Our client is currently seeking an investment banking VP1/2 in its Nashville, TN office. This is an in-office position (not remote or hybrid).

Description: An investment banking VP1/2 at this boutique investment bank will have significant interaction with clients and senior bankers and will immediately assume a great deal of responsibility. VPs work in small deal teams and are involved in every aspect of each transaction, including financial analysis, due diligence, writing teasers, information memorandums and management presentations, developing investor/acquiror contact lists and participating in client meetings. They are looking for a candidate that can hit the ground running and immediately begin contributing to active deals.

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of post-MBA investment banking experience and/or 4 years of pre-MBA investment banking experience
  • Strong academic background in business, finance, accounting or economics
  • Very strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, etc.)
  • A keen understanding of financial statement analysis and company valuation techniques
  • Excellent analytical and research skills (such as Capital IQ and/or PitchBook) and a particular attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills, self-motivation and a willingness to work with a small team in a fast paced, high energy environment.
